    Tamar ​is an Armenian-American singer/songwriter living in New York City. Her debut album, ​Sinner or a Saint​, was released on Interscope records in 2010, and in 2015 she represented Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest. Tamar graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University in New York.

    Board Member, Managing Partner

    Gina brings 15 years of music public relations experience and industry relations to the lens of the work we do at Nvak. She has helmed many campaigns for top artists in the industry and has now focused her work on marrying music and social good. From New York City to her current base in Los Angeles, CA, Gina also oversees Partnerships and Communications at PLUS1, the live event initiative working with artists to aggregate funds from ticket sales for big impact. Growing up in many different countries around the world, including Israel, Gina brings first hand knowledge and passion about making the world a little smaller (and kinder) through equity and access for education.

  • Satarra Troutman

    Artistic Director

    Satarra is a singer songwriter, bassist and producer from Atlanta Ga, who was first introduced to education after graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2016, and directly afterward becoming the colleges youngest female faculty member to hold position at the college. Passionate about social justice, Satarra founded Berklee Black Lives Matter in 2015, and executive produced a series of performances, and youtube videos on the subject before continuing on to receive her masters degree in 2017. As a songwriter and artist, Satarra has collaborated with or opened for numerous artists such as Musiq Soulchild, India.Arie and the Indigo Girls, and performed at TedxValencia, Palo Market Festival, and AfroPunk. Satarra is currently living in working in Los Angeles California.
